Yes. It's a great source. At my ears one of the best "single box" cd player.

It's wonderful - that's the CD player we used in Toronto where we were regarded as one of the best rooms in the show. It's great enough to be used as a preamp as well - for a preamp-less system because the analog input and volume control is superb!!

I had a 089 for over 1 year. As much as I loved it, my GNSC Wadia S71 bettered it in many ways. More transparent and greatter slam. The 089 is very silky and very analoge, but a little too romantic for MY tastes. It also could use a 2/192 usb connection, and not just upsampling. Built like a German tank.
