Does anyone have any experience with the Acoustic Solid metal 111with the upgrade, I just added a 2nd tonearm Jelco TK850M 10" with an Audiotechnica AT33PTG/II MC cartridge and would like to hear from any other owners of this TT what tweaks or upgrades they might have tried and what works and what does not work or does not help to improve the sound.

I do have the Acoustic Solid 111 Metal and suffered from static electricity. But this is easily resolved. I took a wire (regular copper or other metal, won't matter) and attached a fork cable lug on both ends. Under the platform of the tonearm you have screw holes. There you can screw in the wire with lug and use the ground of your receiver or phono preamp on the other end and problem is resolved.

Thank you for the information and instructions for the solution, for me it was completely different, the lower stationary part of the base is grounded by the manufacturer, the whole problem was that the turntable under the LP plate is not grounded and is not galvanically grounded with the lower metal base. I solved everything by connecting the ground and thus the connection of the upper rotating base with the lower fixed base via a carbon brush and everything is already in order and the electrostatic charge is no longer formed on the LP vinyl record. I can send a picture.
