I do have the Acoustic Solid 111 Metal and suffered from static electricity. But this is easily resolved. I took a wire (regular copper or other metal, won't matter) and attached a fork cable lug on both ends. Under the platform of the tonearm you have screw holes. There you can screw in the wire with lug and use the ground of your receiver or phono preamp on the other end and problem is resolved. Please advice, does anyone have experience with Acoustic Solid 111 Metal and static electricity?
