From Ha Noi, Vietnam. Tapeheads take note! :D

I'm pretty hopeless - the only piece of equipment I can identify is the EMM Labs CDSA. What turntable, preamp, power amp, and speakers are those? And what are the strange transparent speakers at the back with the lips?

I recognize the tape deck as a Studer C-37 that has been removed from its original cabinet. The turntable looks like an old VPI TNT with gussied up feet.

Cool pics. Thanks!

Does anyone besides me wonder how a listener actually gets to the t'table to play a record (in the Hanoi system?)

Oh I have less space and manage to do it too.

It's not the amount of space but rather the positioning that seems awkward.

Was wondering about the same ...

The camera probably foreshortened the depth so there is room behind the amps. Still looks awkward.

Myles, where do systems in the second picture live?

Not sure Don. Got them off a Singapore website but I suspect might be Germany? All conjecture ;)

They should be Duevel, omnidirectional from Germany

Those were the speaker brand used in Graig House' apartment in the most recent "House" series.

The second picture here looks like GR Research speakers?
