Look in the central city near the main subway station. Lots of choices there. Fairly easy to get to the MOC via the subway.

There a few hotels around Munich North with coach shuttle to the MOC which is where I usually stay,
The airport coach stops at Munich Nord and most of them are about a five minute walk from the stop. There is also an SBahn station where the coach stops so easy to get into the centre of Munich in the evening.
