So many devices past and present!

While I have a few favorite Sansui pieces, for high-end past, the Sony Ta-e88 pre-amplifier. Battleship build and parts quality with a great adjustable MC phono stage. This was designed as Sony's answer to the Mark Levinson's assault on solid state pre-amplifiers in the 70's.

For the present, Takasuki's TA-S01 300B SE integrated amplifier is the one! Beside being a work of art, the sound I experienced when played through a modest set of Blumenhofer horns was some of the best I have heard regardless of price. The Tak is offered in the US through the good men at Alex Sound.

While I have a few favorite Sansui pieces, for high-end past,
I had a bit of a vintage Sansui habit that got out of hand at one time
