You mother emails you "You never call. Get on Facetime."

I bought the iPad 2 as a birthday gift to myself. It was a toy. For games, streaming movies and reading books. These days, it's a video phone. Like a scene out of the Jetsons. Ring! Ring! Your mum shows up right on the screen.

I got my iPad to control my theater (part of Control4) and it has now become my constant companion (and is never in the theater when I need it).

I DO NOT LIKE Facetime
I use my iPad to control my theater as well as my music server and preamp. Absolutely wonderful. There's a nifty $1.99 app called Audio Tool that will turn your iPad into, amongst other things, a dB average and peak measuring device.

Oh, I don't even know what Facetime is.

Wife: Where are you?
Husband: I'm still at the office:
Wife: Show me.

:)

Ron: I use mine to control my server as well (Monkey Tunes) but how do you use it as a preamp?
