What's Spinning Tonight?

Jimi Hendrix Axis Bold as Love, Sony Legacy 2010, the CD/DVD combo. This one is interesting because the CD sounds so good even though it appears to be loud/compressed. However, this CD appears to have no noise reduction. Live sounding, airy, huge soundstage, great tone intelligibility. I am comparing it to a known source, non noise reduction early Reprise, also fantastic sound, maybe not quite the density of the Legacy.

On the Ascona this afternoon☝:

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon - 50th anniversary collectors edition, with UV printed art work on crystal clear vinyl.

2 x 180g at 33rpm. Only one side on each record is playable, the other side is flat with the UV print on it. Soundwise, it’s pretty okay, but no way near my black vinyl original from 1973. However… it’s a lot more fun to look at.. Enjoy!
