I own a pari of old (25 years old) VR speakers. Beautiful. I had them standing for some 4 years. When I reconnected them, one of the two speakers, and particularly the bass unit, does not reproduce the music properly. It sounds as if the connecting wires of one of the speakers is not properly connected. Does anyone have an idea?

Hi Anzannas there can be a number of issues when speakers go unplayed for such a long time. My first suspect would be corrosion in the internal wiring terminals on the bass module. If you live in a place that can get humid and you use air conditioning, this can be quite common. It's an easy thing to inspect and fix yourself if you are so inclined.
