I am using a 4 way speaker, 8chanel dac and 8 amps with crossover filters in an acourate convolution filter located in jriver on server. This system is intended to be a home cinema as well as music. The dsp adds a delay of 600ms ( theoretically) which results in a a sync problem with video from Apple tv.
I was quite surprised to find that there are not any "black box" solutions to this problem given the number of dsp speakers out there.
After a lot of research I settled on black magic intensity pro video capture card and wirecast pro software which has both audio and video delays in time rather than video frames.
I have almost got it working( one final thing to figure) but it is quite complex to start up and is not going to be easy for guests to manage.
I was hoping that someone may have found a more simple solution . It seems to me there is a small but growing commercial opportunity here

Thanks for any advice

Cheers
Phil
