Hi everyone,
I have a onkyo cp-1400a turntable and it seems to be playing a little to slow.
Any ideas on how i can fix this or if there is a precise speed adjustment screw or something somewhere I can try.

Do you have a manual? It usually is described there. If you don't, try hifiengine, they should have it. It's free of charge.

Looks like vinylengine.com doesn’t have the 1400 manual and the other places online aren’t free? I did see someone on Reddit who was repairing theirs and posted pictures - link below- that may be helpful (I don’t know all that’s involved with getting to that green/orange board to adjust the two pots). Another discussion on speed adjustment for that series of Onkyo belters said to be careful to adjust the 45 pot FIRST as it effects the 33 speed too. So lock in (verify) the 45 speed, then adjust the 33 pot to the speed you require. (The 33 pot should not effect the 45 speed. If it does, there are more serious issues at hand)

Best of luck!
