Tron: Legacy (Daft Punk)

There is a double-CD 'Special Edition' album...the 2nd 'extra CD' is actually quite good.

It is great music and while I have not compared it side by side, I always thought the soundtrack on Blu-ray was far more dynamic with considerably more bass.

As Panagiotas remarks below, one of my favorite system tests over the years has been the first few tracks on this soundtrack- but I never play it at shows as I feel its not small room worthy.

Which tracks do you recommend, Keith?

I have the single CD version and just started it playing.

It's a classic, just not classed as 'Classical' ;)

The movie is pretty cool, on Blu-ray...only $12 right now...amazon...with multichannel audio...DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless.
The double-LP is $30, in stereo? ...Not bad. ...Best is to get them both; the vinyl, and the Blu.

* I'll get back to vinyl someday. Till then I'll watch some 3D, like Tron Legacy, and Mad Max.

Electronic music is cool...it's like modern disco with beats that shake your bones inside. ...Like therapeutic sort of medicinal sexual viagra...like a sugar adrenaline rush.

Oh the irony, my copy arrived today but my system is in boxes.
Oh well something to look forward to when I set it up again.

Two Albums i thought i would never own on Vinyl:
- Inception Soundtrack
-Tron Legacy Soundtrack

Now i have both (well Tron is still on the way)

The only downer is that the Inception soundtrack (pressing) is Noisy as hell

Hope the Tron is going to be better...

Also, 'Oblivion' on Blu-ray...has the separate music score track, in high resolution* multichannel audio...you might like it too, as I do.

* Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (Lossless) @ 96/24.

Dunno if it's avail on vinyl...probably.
