Steve,

Just bought a MacBook Pro Retina 2.6 with the 512 GB Flash Drive. This thing is making me rethink about where the bottlenecks are in the chain because this thing is so fast, especially with Internet connections. Love it already, especially the weight.

I just purchased the 2.3 version with flash memory: fast, quiet, fast, slim, fast, light weight and the Retina display with HD materiel (I have the digital file for a photo of my dog taken by a photographer) is STUNNING!!

I just bought the 15" model without the Retina display for my daughter who is in photography school, because Photoshop CS6 isn't working properly with it yet. Adobe promises updates soon, but we couldn't wait. Also, no optical drive with the Retina model.
