Sad day..we lost a monumental figure..guitarist John Renbourn, founding member
of Pentangle and group leader. His music has been part of the fabric of my life for decades.

His brother in arms, Bert Jansch, passed several years ago, and it is the end of an era.

Tis hard to believe that in a relatively short time both Bert & John have passed. The first Pentangle album was my intro but soon had all their solo and dual disc.

Yes, hard to believe. I have everything Pentangle, John, and Bert recorded, plus tons of live stuff. They will be in the que over the next few weeks as a tribute.

Very sad news, Andre. John Renbourn was one of my earliest guitar inspirations and he truly was one of the great ones. RIP John Renbourn.

:(

I had an audiophile friend I used to visit in New York before I moved to San Diego, and he had a stunning system, and he would
play me Renbourn LPs, and to this day, I have never heard more life like sound.

His music is timeless and as you say he was a great inspiration.
