I just stumbled upon these guys the other day; 'The Farah Quintet. (Timeless Records, Japan.)
It's recorded using vintage Neumann mics and Ampex open reel recorders to give it a vintage feel. But the music is very cool. Definitely worth a listen.

I bought the limited edition vinyl version but it's available on CD also.
