The Call

saw this film yesterday afternoon on the spur of the moment as it was only 96 minutes long. The story line was so far fetched that it actually made the movie very suspenseful but with an ending that is so implausible that it actually has you on the edge of your seat.

Boy has Abigail Breslan grown up as all I can remember her in is Little Miss Sunshine where she was a star. In this film she plays a kidnapped girl taken by a killer with Halle Berry as one of the Los Angeles 911 operators who sets out to find the abductee (something the entire LA police force can't do). What takes place is riveting and I promise that as preposterous as it is, the film's last half hour will have you glued to your seat.

Definitely worth seeing or get it as a rental.
