I wanted to let people be aware of the latest version of this software...
RecentLy my music server went down with the heat and smoke from the Australian bushfires
it was diagnosed as overheating of the program ssd
I have separate ssd for software and applications
i was forced to reinstall the programs ...luckily the music files were undamaged and backed up
I played with jplay before reinstalling HQ player
i noticed when I reinstalled it there was a upgrade
when I reset the settings in HQ player I noted there were some new settings
yep
1 million taps on sinc M and 16 Million on closed form on dsd
well when I reconnected to my DA2 the results were pretty conclusive
I played with maybe 20 different versions of filters
the million or more filters were far superior to anything else
actually imho I was amazed at the improvement .....
