Usually the component division sells to whoever to make money. It is rare for them to take side with the corporation although if you are going to break the rules, this would be a prime candidate!

Exactly. To me it's all just rumours and heresay at this point. While I don't think it's inconceivable, I also don't think it can be taken as fact. Samsung does hold the cards in this situation and that's got to have Apple on edge, for lack of a better description. Can LG and Sharp make up the difference in production? Eventually yes, but not in the short term. Expect some major product delays if this happens.

Thanks for posting that as I read that article (but couldn't remember where)...hence my question. I thought I was dreaming this.
