Samsung Note 2: there is hope for OLED displays after all

Looks like on the Samsung Note 2 (big smartphone) there are multiple settings for the display, bringing it much closer to ideal: http://www.cnet.com/8301-17918_1-57540240-85/screens-test-part-2-galaxy-note-2-vs-apple-iphone-5/

It is still half the brightness of iPhone 5 but with much better contrast. Wonder how it does as it ages.

I am getting ready to upgrade my Android phone and am waiting for the Note 2 to come to Verizon to decide.

Yes, I was looking forward to that too. Verizon (our carrier) doesn't yet stock Note 2 so I have time to decide .
