Remember it very well. Nirvana were playing 2 gigs in Sydney. I bought tickets to the 2nd gig as the venue was just down the road.
They played the first gig on the Thursday and were due to play the 2nd gig in the Saturday. Smells like went No1 in the US and we'll and behold, Kurt had a sudden very bad throat. They cancelled the last gig and flew back to the States.
Not happy. Great band thou.
