Using mouse models of disease, a research group from Genova (Italy) found that the cytokine (a kind of hormone of the immune system) Interleukin-27 inhibits the in vivo growth of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common pediatric cancer.
Hopefully something translational could come out after this study!
