I have a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O. and I just got new brakes for it. They are OEM and they squeak whenever I slowly apply them. Is that normal Or is there something I need to do to fix that?

Sometimes... Did you clean the rotors or drums real well, and ensure you did not handle or get anything (oil, gas, grease) on the new brake pads/shoes? Chances are it will quit after they break in a bit but it sure is annoying!

Yeah maybe they just need to be broken in or something. but yeah lots of people are saying it's the brake pads so I'll definitely check those, as well as the rotors and drums. but the guy who installed them surely would have cleaned them off from the oil gas and grease wouldn't you think? Unless some accidentally got on there from his hands.
