Need help with VPI HW-19 mark 4 w/Graham 2.2

Hi All,

Long story short I need to know how thick to make an armboard to house my Graham 2.2 on my VPI HW-19 Mark 4

I am not very experienced so could really use some guidence. My platter is the 16LB and 1-7/16" thick. I am reading that the mark 4's have a 1" thick armboard.

Is that how thick I should make it?
