Will be there! Looking forward to hearing the setup.
PLEASE find me in this room and introduce yourself! I would enjoy meeting you!!!

Personally I don't think the rooms at either place are inherently better. At MOC/Hi Fi Deluxe there are some that get great results. They get those results with planning and execution. They have more advance time than here at the US shows. The proof as they say is in the pudding. You either know how to set up a room and have outstanding gear or you don't. I have heard both good and terrible at both the MOC and HiFi deluxe locations.
The variety and scale of these shows is fantastic and a must for any high end lover as there is no where else that I have been that has so much cool gear in a small area. The two floors at MOC are amazing with virtually every high end brand you can imagine all in approx the same size rooms. So if some sound great and others don't is it the room? I don't think so .....

By the way the brands that I represent all should have some surprises at the event. So make sure you visit Wadax, CH Precision, Riviera and of course Gobel High End.
See you all there , its always a blast!

I am very pleased with the sound that we get at MOC, BUT I personally think the acoustics at the Marriott are better with the solid walls, vs tin roofs, windows, flimsy walls at MOC.

Bob , I heard that we will have some common ground at Munich with your electronics and our speakers. I look foward to that.
YES:) Exciting!!!

Indeed. I feel the App is now faster than before and it shows visually the booth position.

I prefer to be surprised...
Best of luck with that plan. Having perused the app and the layout/logistics of all the brands and exhibitors: where they are, their distance from each other and how they are grouped by the organizers in the app, that's going to be one helluva task getting the most out of the show.

I will be there all 4 days and have gone every year for over 10 years...so, I kind of know my way around the ol' MOC.

Been going for probably a decade but his year I am doing an entire week in a 5 star central Munich hotel. Bored of slumming it in average rubbish.

So both shows, as pretty much always.

Prediction for best speaker: Alsyvox.

DIesis was extremely good a couple of times in the past (last year was ok but not amazing) as is sometimes Acapella. When Alsyvox was there in the past, before going to the big show, they were amazing...I have been disappointed twice now with them at the big show. Also, there are some smaller, quirkier brands that would go unnoticed at the big show and some of those really shine (Diesis being one of those in the past). Viva was very good there with one system in the past.

I have found that brands that did really well at the Hifi Deluxe show were not as good when moving to the big show. I think the conference rooms at the Marriott are better damped than the rooms at the MOC and this might help the acoustics. The power might also be cleaner there and this can make a huge difference on a systems sound. That said, of course not everything sounds great there but relative to the number of exhibitors, I feel the % of more successful rooms is higher.
the key is AC quality, the most important things in audio is AC quality.
