Hi I have a Meridian 588 which needs the drawer fixing as it is not opening when requested or doesn’t load sometimes, I was also wondering if it is worth having a general all round service to improve the overall sound quality as I find the sound a little muddy in the low base frequencies and was wondering if it can be improved?

Given the age of the 588, you may consider upgrading to a newer piece. Improvements in recent digital playback gear can be quite stunning. If you choose this route, make sure you can try before you buy.

If you know what your choice is, track the Gon for available used.
