Can't find the announcement in English, but DG is celebrating Portugese pianist Maria Joao Pires' 70th birthday with a 20 CD box set of her solo piano recordings.

I do not know how I missed your post on this great CD box - I have got mine a few weeks ago! Although she is mostly know for the Mozart works, I had the pleasure of listening to her playing the Bethoven sonatas life, and has really delighted when listening to CD2.

Glad someone's reading my music recommendations even though you bought it long before I posted it. You get it in Europe long before we get ours in the US. I'm still waiting for my box from Amazon. I've already got her Mozart box.
