Magico S3 experiences

I'm pushing my S3's with 700w RMS @4ohm and they don't seem to mind despite this being 200w more than they are rated to handle. The amp is good for 1200w @2ohm which is certainly getting on the hairy side in terms of overkill for these speakers but so far so good.

Even the little S3 seems to have zero issue pumping along at 110db, at least in my room. I guess at this level all should remain peaches and cream as long as there is no shortage of amp power. Unless of course you forget that the Preamp volume is maxed when you turn it on :p
