I just happen to buy a LPS for my Lumin U2 mini streamer and the Sotm switch initially the sound was wonderful and there was a lot of it that I liked
but after a few hours the sound has become hard and brittle.
will the hardness go away with time and will give me the same performance I heard on installation or is it a bad choice of LPS its the LHY 80v

How did it sound before the LPS? Has the character ever been hard and brittle before, and if so what combination caused that?

Before the sound was good with the LPS the sound was wider there was depth and lower noise floor but after 4 hours the sound changed to being hard and britle hoping it will change again with burnin for better

Ah - OK, that doesn't good. Do you have a multimeter so you can check there isn't a fault?

If a product is still breaking in, the sound can change from better to worse multiple times. Give it about 300-400hrs before doing a critical listen again.
