Hello all friends!
Can anyone tell me anything about the Lampizator mc2 silver phono? Does it sound very different from mc 2 regular?

Do you have the schematic, then i can tell you if it is interesting or not... (even then, auditioning would be recommending)

You will have to get one first then and listen to it ...
My guess is that a "gold" version will follow and then a "platinum", maybe even a "diamond" version...
And they will all sound different.... please don't let your audiophilia nervosa get the upper hand, just enjoy !

Best wishes,
Frank

Thank you lampie for your concern, but I'm not nervous at all, just curious and curiosity in this passion is essential as the comparison, the opinion of others......

Where are you located Flamenko ? If in the UK then you are more than welcome to come around and listen to it for yourself. Greg

Answering your question: Both are sharing exactly the same circuit and components pool, the silver is obviously silver wired. Internal silver wiring brings more refined sound to the table but, IMHO, to take a full advantage of that the rest of the TT set up need to be rather good too as well as the system wire needs to be well voiced to maximise that gain.

ps: sorry for the late input but I am not regular forum checker.
