Hi What's Besters, I'm giving serious consideration to replacing the stock Shugang 845b tubes on my Audion Black Shadows SET monoblocks, and my choice is coming down to these two highly regarded tubes, KR 845 and Pvsane W.E. Replica 845. If anyone has any direct experience of either, or both, please share your thoughts.

Just seen your query, 5 years later! Curious what you concluded/did. I opted for the KR845s in my Audion Black Shadows and noticed a remarkable improvement, especially in bass handling and subjectively in loudness. However, I was initially plagued with flashover issues which required several tweaks by a competent valve engineer to ensure both appropriate setup for the KR 845s and some protection circuitry. Final result? SUBLIME. Not a plug and play replacement tho, and would require retweaking to be able to use standard chinese 845s again.
