Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas)

Don't forget to turn on the English subtitles, you will need it when the Germans, French and Scotts speak.
To better enjoy and understand this movie I think it's important to watch/listen/read the interview with the French director afterwards.
The movie starts out slow, but when it turns a page the full effect is felt and you would have to be made of stone not to snot up at times, I know I did.
This is one of the most touching movies (based on true events) I have ever seen. This is a war movie, but certainly not pro-war. It grabs just enough characters and scope of topic to be personal, intimate and a tad epic at times.
I enjoyed this movie and hope you do too.
EDIT: One quote by the director keeps ringing in my head; What I liked about the story was the ability of music to mute the war.
