You know you want it, Myles.....

Lee

LOL--but technically is this really the first "stereo" LP? I think that honor went to Emory Cook but it wasn't a 45/45 system. It was a jury rigged dual mono that Cook called binaural but really was stereo.

I'll wait for Chad to reissue, but not sure what his price will be either. Maybe I should just press 'buy it now' and be done with it....

I didn't think those Audio Fidelity records (from the list of others he is including) were all that rare- I have a few, along with a range of other period 'test' and 'demo' records, including some from GE, Zenith and other major appliance makers who were selling console stereos back in the day.

A bargain, only $200,000 an LP. The only record set will be for stupidity ;

I'm dying to see when he reduces the price!

This is suposed to go toward help to Haiti. 95% :rolleyes: , so the seller would keep about $50K of the proceeds, He/she also charges $4 dollar for shipping... He/she could not take it from the $999,999 ... Is this real?
... How famous is this particular LP anyway? What is so special about it?

I have an idea.

Myles could buy it for review at Positive-Feedback Online. The piece could be called the "Million Dollar Record Review" to emphasis the historical significance of it. I promise whatever is written will receive the highest number of hits at an audio site the month it is published! :D
