It would be very interesting if the same disrespect is given to the next Rep POTUS by the Dems, to see how the GOP would and will re-act to that type of treatment...perhaps this is the reason that the word 'hypocrite' comes to the vernacular??

I know that if the shoe was on the other foot, the Democrats would be doing exactly the same thing.

I don't think so, not because the Dems are above it, but because it's dumb politics and even if the Republicans seem unable to learn that lesson, it's pretty clear from an arm's length.

Whatever you’re political persuasion, for the past 80 years, lame duck presidents don’t get to make successful nominations for lifetime appointments in an election year.

That's not true, and no matter how many pols and talking heads say it, it's not going to become true. Fact check it.
