As some of you may be aware from my posts here, I am planning on moving, from New York metro area to Austin. In the process, everything is going to get packed, some of the stuff will get stored until we resettle and some, well, I'm thinking it might be time to let go and start from scratch. Here's the short list, and while I'm amenable to selling stuff off piece by piece, I think there will be a bonus here for somebody local to NY to take as much of it as possible.
There is a Marantz DLP projector VP 12S2- I bought it brand new, it was professionally installed and set up by the dealer, and it has a brand new bulb in it with just a few hours that i installed a few months ago. It is a 720 P projector, but looks great on:
Stewart Grey Screen, bought new, professionally installed;
I have two big fully enclosed Atlantic racks, that have power, fans, shelves, and all the goodies. these things cost a fair amount of money, were professionally installed and make you look like you are running a secret NSA facility;
I have a relatively inexpensive set of rack mounted mini- video monitors, two screens; they are not 'broadcast' quality but still useful in running a video system with multiple sources;
An HD Leeza, bought new, still works great with all the accessories- I think Key Digital still supports it, not sure.
A matching cheapy Panny DVD (not Blu) player that Key Digital modified with an SDI output and came with the HD Leeza;
A Dual format HD DVD Blu player from LG, bought new.
An old Sony professional video switcher with line doubler card, model PC 1271, bought new and never abused (since it was never in a broadcast studio, but my home)
A Richard Gray 240volt Step Down Transformer and the matching big multi-outlet line conditioner; these were the top of his line, and i gather they suck for purist audio but they are fine to support a big home theatre.
A pair of Velodyne woofers, one is a ULD 18 Series 2 in black, the other is a 1500b.
I also have a complete set of Snell THX 500 speakers- F-C-R and two dipole firing rear/sides. I have the matching stands for the front L and R. I've got a bunch of other stuff that goes with all this. You will need a big truck!
I'm gonna price it pretty reasonably~ so if anybody here is interested in taking the whole enchilada, I'll do my best to help you buy it.
For almost all the stuff, at least the electronics, I have original boxes, manuals, etc. Just send me a PM.
