Just found this forum by accident, had a read and thought it looked worth joining so here I am.
Bit of background.
First took an interest in hi-fi when I was still at school, (mid 1970's) saved my money and bought a Sony cassette deck ( Tc136sd) and a pair of headphones.
Used that for a while until I could afford an amp.... Another Sony and eventually a pair of Mordaunt short pageant speakers.
Next purchase was an Ariston T/T , which was soon replaced by a Linn LP12 . This put me on to a Naim/Linn system.
Sara/Isobarik...but no soundstaging so to cut a long story short then ATC 50sl actives with the nagra plp, then sonus Guarneri , mbl 121 and now 116f's
