Hi!

I am Simon Shilton based in near Manchester in the UK. I have been a professional acoustics engineer since 1989, and I have designed and hand built the SJS Arcadia valve amplifiers since 1995.

I have a particular liking for zero feedback single ended triode amplifiers and choke input filter power supplies. I design, develop and build each amplifier personally, often tailored to customer requests or aesthetics.

Thank you Tom. I studied Electroacoustics (electronics and acoustics) at University because I was fascinated by how sound and music works. My career led me to acoustics engineering consultancy, and my electronics knowledge crossed over to valves when I first heard Audio Innovations kit in the early 90's, so yes there has been a lot of fun along the way.
