Dear musik lovers.

Now I'm a few days with you and now I see this area.:)

Short: My name is Thomas, or better simple Tom. I'm 43 years old, comming from germany, and love listen music from analog equipment about 30 years.

In this years I used different setups but during all the years there was a turntable with me.
Sometimes more than one... ;)

Rarely I use digital sources.

My preferential music directions are:jazz, classic, folk and singer and songwriter.

I wish us together a good time.:)

Welcome Tom!
It is always nice to hear from other analogue lovers living in this side of the Altlantic. Are you one of the "vinylophiles" that often overbid me at www.ebay.de ? :)

Hi Tom,

We're about the same age and have been enjoying analogue for about the same length of time. Welcome! :)

Oh yeah, without a doubt! :)

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of vinyl rig are you running with today?

Dear Treitz,

the turntable is a TW - Acoustic Raven AC, tonearms are Stax UA7-C, Ikeda IT245 and Graham Phantom, Cartridges are: van den Hul Colibri XPW, van den Hul Colibri XPM, Ikeda 9CII, Ikeda 9CV, Decca Super Gold vdH, Denon 103R. Phono Pre is an DIY PASS ONO Clone ( Papa Pass told that this layout ist better than his own comercial Version) and an MM section in my high quality DIY Tube Pre - Amp, Transformers are from Fidelity Research (XF-1) and Jensen (JT-346-AX(T)) , record cleaning by nitty gritty.

The power Amp is a McIntosh MC275 CE, Speakers are Quad ESL57, Subwoofer is a DIY.

Behind the Quads you can see a pair of DIY La Scala - Clones with a multicellulare horn.

I hope you don't mind, I blew the photo up a bit. Nice rig, if I do say so myself! Looks like you spend many an enjoyable hour in the listening chair.

Hello Tom!

Welcome from another analogue fan. Sweet setup you've got happening there! I'm not running anything near as sophisticated, but I enjoy my vinyl playback immensely nonetheless. My schtick has always been media, so it's music first first and foremost! I do admire great setups though and yours certainly qualifies.
