After a 16 year loyalty to BMW cars, I changed my 525i for this:

infiniti m37.jpg

But the main reason to post this was a thought I got from driving back home last night, the Infiniti is a different car compared to the BMW for sure, while almost same price tag, rear wheel drive, similar size/weight, one is great for highway driving and the other for city driving - one has more grip and handling but the other is way more comfortable and packed with more features.....then I thought, are we talking of amps here?

My point is, there is not a binary, kill-win perspective at the car comparison arena, both are right depending on the purpose and interests of the buyer, and could live happy with any of both cars.

Just a thought.....

I drove Q45s for over fifteen years. For a large, luxury sedan, much more driver's cars than Lexus, I was very fond of them. I had a Lexus, too, but always preferred the Infinitis.

The original Q45 was criticized for its hard, British saddle seats but those seats are still the best seats I have ever experienced in a car. They disappeared after about a minute and you could drive forever without any support problems. I would like to pull one from a wreck and transplant it to every car I ever drive.

There is the new Q50 coming Carl, a very promising car.
