Started last night... http://www.bso.org/brands/bso/features/2015-16-bso-season/dg-recording-label-announcement.aspx

This season, the live Saturday broadcasts from Symphony Hall have offered exceptional sound, unlike anything I have ever heard the last two decades, and was wondering what's changed. It now seems to me they were preparing for these live recordings on DG. This new sound coming out of my FM was the reason I decided to modify my Etude tuner and had my Revox brought back to spec, and the results have been rewarding. Last weekend's recording of Mahler's 6th at 7-1/2ips came out superb; tomorrow I'll be recording Beethoven's Violin Concerto and Shostakovich's 10th... Fun times...

I hope the CDs come out sounding just as good or better...
