Such overkill would of course have to be sponsored by potential presidential candidate/ real estate mogul/and reality show creator Donald Trump. Who knows how many groupies made it this far.

Even if you don't have Jeters' eyes, or his ability to play shortstop, you can have his penthouse in Manhattan for only $20 million dollars.

Appearently Jeter has seen his own mortality in the latest contract negotiations. He has built his "retirement" home in Tampa, Florida.

I think it's all pretty tasteful and understated for the $20 million penthouse of a sports star. I was expecting something over the top by the description.

Jeter has probably outgrown the "pimp my crib stage." maybe it was pre-furnished by the Donald.

Yeah, it looks good. I could live there. Actually, I could live in a couple of rooms there.

Very tasteful decor! Agree that it is understated and well done in that sense. Good move if he ever has to sell it.

Jeter has been as classy as any athlete ever to play. He's a King of NYC , has been for years, but handles it with a grace that's anything but a given (see A.Rod, Melo, et al). Not surprised there's some restraint and taste.
