Good evening guys.
Im new to the Vinyl seen and I’m liking that it’s becoming popular once again has I remember has a young child my dad playing all his country vinyls while cooking on an evening. I’m finding myself doing the exect same thing.

Im after a bit of information regarding Cartridges and headshells has I’m only new to it all.
I’ve only got the Audio Technica AT-Lp120xusb to get me going and upgrade in time but for now I’m after upgrading the Cartridge and headshell but I’m very unsure of what would work best with it instead of Audio Technica.
Im after more of a better crisp vinyl sound if that makes sense.

Thanks for taking time to read my post really appreciate it.

AT is one of the better cartridge manufacturers but depending on your budget and dealer both Denon & Ortofon have excellent alternatives to AT's models.

Thanks for your response David.
I was looking at a few AT ones for around £200 mark. I just in the proses in up grading to the new Mission QX-MKII range from the Bose double cube speakers has I’m running on a Denon 7.2 AVR but now I’m hooked in and thinking separates but only in the new year if I was to go down that road. I was looking at the Goldring Cartridges would you Recommend this range or are the ones you mentioned better.
kind regards
James

Hi James,
I'm unfamiliar with the current Goldrings but in the past they made some great sounding cartridges. The brands I mentioned were for your reference as alternatives to AT and I'm not making any claims to their superiority within your budget and system context, just that those companies make good sound products and worth looking at.
