Just purchased a Border Patrol S10 EXD with the EXS power supplies to mess around with a pair of Tri Art Open Baffle speakers in a 2nd system. Does anyone have a recommendation on 300 tubes I should buy for this? I've read the Elrogs are amongst the best though I'd prefer to not spend $1500 for them if I didn't have to. I think they have the tubes they came with at purchase.
I've never heard the amp but I read where it's a nice 300B for under $15k. I've generally had pretty good luck buying sight unseen (unheard) based upon posts on this forum.
