I am thinking of buying a 1956 Chris-Craft Boat. It's mint condition with a fiberglass bottom. An amazing piece! Any advice?

I would suggest you to make an offer, subject to successful sea trials and condition survey. Also hire a boat surveyor to inspect the boat and quantify the money you will need to rectify her Issues.
among others he should inspect the engines, propulsion, electrical installation, the steering system, the hull, superstructure as well as cosmetics and varnish.
A poorly maintained boat can involve high costs for maintenance and restoration.
what‘s the current location of the boat and her asking price? What’s her size and engines?
