I noticed that jRiver media center has a software version that runs in M1 native mode. Not using X86 instruction set emulation would reduce cpu activities quite a bit. A new faster version of the chip is also out. I believe the M1 also came with a new USB controller.. Just wondering if anyone has noticed any differences/improvements. Still running my old faithful MacBook Pro.. a mini/LPS is In my future.
