The new ride.
(The dropper post is down when I get off of it.)

...the tricked-out details on the Pina are not lost on me, sir. Although I am a Colnago guy, bravo to you on this fine steed.

Remember, it’s the Indian, not the arrow. But those are some damn fine looking arrows!

...I wish I had my Stingray! I would be the old guy riding the '68 blue Stingray to the coffee shop.

We used to drag race them side-by-side on the back streets. I put a parachute on I could pop with a string. It was awesome.

...did you "lose" the front wheel, Brother Rando? That is a hard way to go, I think. A patch of ice, invisible due to a little snow...and then, a tiny bit less than perfectly straight and tranquilo, and...body slam.

I am not riding outside these days, although some ice is gone and it's supposed to warm up today. Have been on the trainer, just three weeks out from a little arthroscopic tune-up. Look at some of the crap they took out of my "good" knee. No wonder it was killing me. Keep it smooth out there...

I crashed spectacularly on ice today, twice.

The last trying to descend the 14% average section on paved backside of a sledding hill. Boy did I get some looks from dog walkers at the bottom.
Remember, the rubber side goes down!

As the saying goes, there are 2 types of cyclists; those that have crashed and those that will.

Doubt I would be recounting this type of experience if it had gone badly. These were more in line with a healthy shock of being deposited on the ground. Release of tensions built up in joints etc. as opposed to harmful injury.

Laughably, I did think of @christoph finding the safe bounds of jumping his e-mtb while typing that. Avoiding the doctor while staying highly entertained can certainly be done.

...oh man, I used to keep a set of rollers in my truck when I was "repping" for C'dale long ago. I almost went through the TV set in a St. Louis Hampton Inn room when I let my attention wane and came off the rollers at 25 mph. Highly stimulating! Not recommended. Stick to the ice!
