I just heard from Dr.Jan Montana ( at SDMAG) that our good friend and fellow a'phile, Mr John Thomas, just passed away after a short illness

John was an encyclopedia of knowledge regarding not just electronics BUT music also. He also was a long time electronics expert and
had been one of Audio Research's first dealer's when they started into business.John's mods on the original ARC SP1
are legendary. John helped me on several occassions with my ARC D70Mk2...and was instrumental in getting it running as well as it does.
