Hi and hello to everyone 'I am new to the forum. Can anyone suggest a good preamplifier for the Krell KSA100. I have just purchased a fully serviced unit from Fanthorpes Audio in Hull UK. The amp was serviced 2 years ago by its previous owner at Absolute Sounds in London. The UK's Krell service agents.
I am currently using the pre section of my AMC 3000 integrated. It all sounds very very good. The slam and attack plus warmth are wonderful. But would there be any advantages soundwise to a better pre amp. I use a beresford Caimen Seg DAC ' An Orelle CD100 cd player all into BW 803N loudspeakers.
Any comments much appreciated as this is my first KRELL purchase.
I listen to classical strings and anything through to Gong.

Many choices. I've owned three Conrad Johnson pres, currently the ET5. Love it and you can roll the one 6922 tube and season to taste.

Thanks. have been thinking of a tube front end. I had a hybrid Copland integrated amplifier for a while. A csa28 and the tube pre and transistor output sounded better than any integrated amp I have owned. Thanks Conrad Johnson one to add to the listen to if I get chance.
