magnesium or carbon armtube?
did you get extra moving assys?
remember to install pump unit BELOW arm, to avoid potential condensation running DOWN into arm-assy
best
Leif
I am not sure which armtube, but I would say, that it feels like the Magnesium version.
The arm was bought from a German Customer, who never fitted the tonearm,
so it is a unit from the original German distributor "Audio Components"
It will take some time, before I am going to fit the arm, as I need a matching tonearm base first.
Next weekend I will start to read the manual in detail
Audiophile Bill ..is it BD Design Swing I see in your avatar?
The Airtangent Reference titan linear tracker tonearm sn 34/100 is landed
New Old Stock in original alloy box.
Complete with a Micro Seiki SX 8000 MKII custom tonearm base
(as this base goes on 2 corners, it does unfortunately do not fit my TechDAS)
May be I will speak to Hideaki Nishikawa in Munich, if they can develop and produce a matching Tonarme base for my AF3P turntable.
I have mounted one on a airforce 3 works well, superb tonearm one of the finest ever produced, can we see a picture of the control/regulator chassis and the compressor. Leif was constantly changing things there were many versions of the Reference and the 10b.
You do always find some rare pieces Jürgen. What cartridge are you planning on using with the arm ?I am not sure which armtube, but I would say, that it feels like the Magnesium version.
