First time I got to see regular content today. Watched a few blue-rays on the 65 inch Sony 4k.

It is a very good set and has made a lot of people believers in 4K even though in what you experience, i.e. watching Blu-ray, you were not watching 4K!

But still - 2k upscaled to 4k looks noticably better than the plain vanilla 2k.

Did you get the $699 FMP-X1 4k Media Player as well ?
