I have a modified '14 WRX and you just have to be careful wrt getting speeding tickets. I have owned fast cars my whole life and it takes experience and a good radar detector to avoid tickets. Even so I get one every few years, that I can live with. Any modern sports car has performance well above what's sane to explore on the street though, if you want to do this you NEED to get your car on a track!

rockitman, that's an amazing car, congrats! The closest I have come to being in a car like that is a Z06 Vette I got to drive a couple years ago. Even though my WRX can hit 60 in about 4 sec the Z06 made it feel slow. Rear wheel drive = a bit more drama and a lot of fun! :D

Thee are some very nice cars on here. I have a friend that has an older Porsche and does track days with it when the club rents out California Speedway. I have not taken my current car to the track yet. I made sure I bought speakers and cables to avoid driving to the Porsche dealership and spending it there. I love the new Porsche but will still keep my Camaro ZL1, it's really fun to drive especially on a road course. I never owned a car that could pull over 1G before!

Beautiful and bet your pretty excited.
BTW you ever had the chance to driver or be up close to the 959?
Appreciated aged now but still defining moment IMO with Porsche, anyway with your spending was curious if you ever pushed to get in one :)

Cheers

Great driving skills in that video.
I was taken out a fair few years ago by a really good high performance instructor who showed me just what can happen on damp leafy road in a serious high performance rear wheel drive car if your "prod" them too hard and they bite, does not take one long to realise-experience these type of performance cars can be very twitchy (and beyond twitchy lol) as seen in the video.
Cheers

Way cool ! I have had my car for a month now and still haven't had a chance to drive it because of snow. Looks like a few more weeks to wait until winter loses its grip around here.
